Smart composter prototype
Built for city kitchens. It keeps less waste out of landfill and gives your plants rich compost in return.
- Mixes itself
- Keeps odour down
- Fits a small space

We turn kitchen and farm waste into compost, gardens and livelihoods, from Assam's villages to city homes.

Balconies, rooftops, backyards. Tell us what you have, and we'll help it grow.
Not sure which one fits? Tell us about your space and we'll suggest one.
In the ground today: a smart composter for city kitchens and fibre from areca husks. Still germinating: a fibre machine for farmer co-operatives and an Android app.

Areca (betel nut) husks, usually thrown away, become fibre for textiles, packaging and more.

It rots without air and releases greenhouse gases equal to nearly 950 g of CO₂.

Composting stops those emissions and turns the same kilogram into black gold for the soil.
We envision a world where every city is lush, healthy, and self-sustaining.
GreenyUrban started as an initiative to bring nature back into urban spaces. Founded by Bandita Deka, we want sustainable living to be within everyone's reach. So we:
For me, GreenyUrban is more than a business — it's a way to heal our relationship with nature. I believe every kitchen can become a source of life, not just waste. That's why I started this journey — to help people grow, compost, and reconnect.
We saw a problem: urban waste on one side, and lost natural connection on the other. At GreenyUrban, we turn this gap into a green opportunity — whether it's compost bins for city homes or fiber from discarded betel nut peels in villages. Our goal is to build a business that grows nature and people together.
